Purchased our third Wink mattress. Less than a year later, while moving the mattress, on a dolly, out of one room into another so we could get the carpets cleaned, one string apparently caught on something and within seconds, the entire mattress unraveled. One single STRING is the only thing holding this "luxury" mattress together. We immediately sent in a refund request, thinking the "1 year guarantee" would surely cover the mattress completely falling apart. The only response was a customer service agent rudely replying that the warranty covers coils and springs. Not the structural integrity of the mattress. Plus, they said, under the warranty you aren't covered moving the mattress. Within your own home. On a dolly. By 2 adults. COMPLETE refusal to back the product and to engage in any dialogue regarding the issue. Horrendous customer service and advertising that the mattress is made to the "highest standards" is blatantly nonsense. Then, if you call the company in hopes of speaking to a manager or elevating the issue, they will lie to you and explain that they don't have any managers.
Ah, where to start? We owned a Select Comfort bed for 20 years and were very happy with it, but eventually it wore out. So, we decided to replace our mattress with a new one. I was intrigued by another brand (not as expensive, but still pricy that uses the color purple in their advertisements). We ordered a King size and anxiously awaited delivery. When it finally came and was installed, I loved it, but wife hated it. So, we sent it back with no problems. Off to the local mattress stores in search of the perfect mattress for us. We settled on a Stearns & Foster Hybrid mattress. Full disclosure, I didn't love it at the store, felt hard to me, but I figured my wife loved it, and I would get used to it. Wrong. After 3 years, I still hated it and was developing all sorts of aches and pains in my shoulders and hips. I finally ended up sleeping on the couch and chairs for the next couple of years. It was that bad for me. My wife still loved it, so what's a person to do? I ordered another mattress from Costco and put it in a spare bedroom. After 30 days, I could no longer take it, so back to the couch. By this time, we've spent a small fortune on mattresses that I couldn't sleep on. I finally talked the wife into giving me one more chance. This time, I really dug in and did a lot of research and consulted with a couple of the on-line reviewers. One guy recommended The Wink mattress. I gave him my height and weight and physical issues I have. He recommended the "Soft" mattress as I am a slide sleeper with shoulder and hip pain. We drove 1.5 hours from our house to a store in Columbus, OH (Sandman Sleep, Kimberly Hanschu) that had the mattress in stock - along with a few dozen other mattresses. As soon as I lay on the bed, I was convinced this was the one. Unfortunately, my wife didn't like how soft it was, but we decided we had the space in our bedroom to purchase the Wink bed in a Twin XL and just put it next to our King size Stearns & Foster. So, that's what we did. I can't tell you how much I love the Wink mattress. As soon as I hit the bed I fall asleep. No tossing and turning. Just blissful sleep. It's the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. They shipped it quickly, it's reasonably priced and has a lifetime warranty with a 120 day trial period. Thrilled is an understatement. Thank you Wink!
I'm 66 years old 175 and a side sleeper and ordered the Luxury Firm. I have to say this is with out a doubt the most comfortable mattress I have ever had. It's well constructed, does not sleep hot, and great pressure relief. The first mattress I've found that lets me sleep on my left side with out any pain in my leg. Almost like sleeping on a cloud.
We bought a CA King foundation bed frame from Wink Beds hoping to alleviate all movement across our new Wink mattress, but the only way that is possible is if we put the mattress on the floor. The bed frame is great. It's the perfect height, and looks beautiful. It was easy to assemble with two of us. It is a wonderful compliment to our new mattress, like a hand in a glove.
Bed came before expected so that was good. Box looked like it had the worst trip of its life, I received it open and all ripped apart. Mattress is okay comfort wise (it’s been a few days and it’s still under test), materials and fabric feels cheap, you can totally feel the springs trying to come out on the side of the bed, definitely not worth $1500
